Training for my first competition

Around this time, I heard news of a Panna competition being held in Singapore and there would be participants from other countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. Though I felt that I wasn't gonna be ready for the competitions as other participants all had many years of experience I decided that I have to start somewhere and it would be good to learn and experience how it feels like to compete with the best in southeast Asia.

During this period of time, I train SO INCREDIBLY hard, so much so that I am confident to say that no one else would train as hard as me. I was training about 5 to 7 hours every single day without fail. Even if I were to go out and have fun or with my family, I would still train after the event/gathering until past midnight. It was so bad that I decided to travel a few train stops away from my house to practice so that I would stop training and take the last train home. There was once where I trained near my house, I remember starting training at about 5pm and only deciding to stop training and go home at 1.30am when my legs got so tired I can barely walk. Every time I wanted to stop because I was tired, I would think to myself, "If I were to stop now, I would have proven all those people who doubted me right, that I could not do it." with this mind set I have no regret to say that I have given my all to prepare and train for my first competition!
