The idea of doing tutorials came up when Daryl and I was thinking of ways to make more content for our social media. It was a great idea to not only grow our social media but also to create a platform for new panna players to go on to and learn new skills.

The experience making tutorials was new to me as I have to learn to speak clearly and confidently in the video. Learning how to breakdown a move was also something new I learn during this process. This helped me improve my understanding of the tricks that we often got used to doing with ease and benefit me as the process eventually made it easier for me to teach and explain to young kids new tricks during classes.

Making tutorial videos was my first exposure to video making. Making a video that requires planning was quite different from the usual static point shoot of my usual groundmoves video. Some things that were required during the planning stages are, what trick to teach and it's name, how many steps will the trick be broken down to, change of location and background from one scene to another, the script, intro, trick explanation and outro.

After the tutorials were uploaded, I received some messages from younger players who convey their gratitude as they appreciate that we took the time and effort to make tutorial which helped them learn new tricks. It made me really happy to see that our effort helped others grow and learn more about panna.

While doing these tutorial, I felt some interest in making video and wanted to try it out for myself. The tutorials from this series was edited by Daryl and the clips was taken with Daryl's Gopro so I was able to experience using the Gopro when we were filming. Though I wanted to try and make my own videos, I did not have a quality camera and my phone's camera quality was just too lousy. So this leads to my next story where I decided to pick up a new camera~~~!
